Getting started on the Razors Edge is dead easy...
Once you have connected up, you will be prompted to enter a name for yourself.. And, providing that your selected name doesn't belong to another player, you will be asked to enter a password that you will use with this character.
Next, you will be asked to choose a class, from the following:

Warrior
|
Warriors are the strongest in fighters - but this isn't to say the most potent. Warriors will learn a whole variety of skills which will aid them should they run into any trouble, or decide to cause some.

Spiritualist
|
The gentler class, the spiritualist will acquire magical abilities to aid themselves, and to aid others. Less strong in combat, this class is intelligent and wise, and so a potent magic-user.

|
Academic
|
The academic is, like the spiritualist, a magical class - however, the abilities of the academic are directed in a more offensive way. Thus again, it is more intelligent than the loutish warriors, yet doesn't fare too badly in battle.

|
Rogue
|
The more underhanded class - rogues will learn stealthiness and accurate brutality. A utilitarian, the rogue can master skills such as picking locks, and thievery, and again, fares well in battle.

After you have chosen your first career, you will be prompted to select a hometown. The majority of players will select Midgaard, however, if you're feeling a bit different from the rest, and a little bit daring (!), try New Sparta.
The main thing is, don't be afraid to ask for help!
